Chat GPT says we’re not there but I kinda disagree. Fascism isn’t one giant step over the big do not cross line, it’s a buncha little steps over little lines over a period of time. Trump has been staunchly doing that well before this term and we’re seeing it in full action now. We might not be fully in a fascist regime but we’re living in a grey area where fascism and democracy are at direct odds with each other, and we’re all waiting to see what wins out. This is a terrifying time for a lot of us, there’s no reason to be coy about that. He’s followed so many tactics by other dictators we’ve seen before: attack the press, the education system, the law system, break down our mental health so we become apathetic and of course, blame everything on immigrants. But we can’t sit by and allow him to keep doing this. If you’re like me you’ve probably been angrily asking where the democrats are and why no one seems to be doing anything. So that means one thing. It’s on us now. Now is also the time we need more than ever to get angry, to protest, to make ourselves heard. They won’t do it for us.

Not only has she continued to become the best version of herself (which is crazy to think she can get better) but she also decided to move in with me?? Wild and I’m happy about that. We’ve discovered gardens and trees and interior design and also what it means to have a roommate that you also sleep in the same room with and surprisingly I think we’re having a really fucking good time. I love you so much and I’m so so so happy I get to learn about life from you.
